  1. It looks like a nice kit I have never really strayed away from Elecraft when it comes to radio kits. Seems very simple but I would like to have an antenna tuner in it.

  2. I have an Oak Hills Research 100A for 20 meters. Considered by many one of the better QRP kits. With internal keyer, matching digital display and wattmeter, makes for a nice QRP station. Not at the Elecraft level, though.

I have not really been one for building kits since my very first cmos keyer which I built from scratch many moons ago, I suddenly have the desire to build a rig - to have the satisfaction of knowing I built it and have some fun with it - I'm sure if I follow "Mikes" kit building guidelines we could do a good job here - I spotted this one the other day, looks good and there are a few videos on it (Y Tube) still looking !

  4. I own a TT1320 and it drifts seriously. The IF and VFO should be reversed, as you can hear BCI at the IF (6.144MHz) and the VFO is at 8.75MHz. 8MHz IF and 6MHz VFO would be a better choice, or even 11MHz IF and 3MHz VFO... On the other hand, the box is bulletproof and the rig is built like a tank, very very solid.
